Our inquiry question was..."Would you rather get information about a product from watching a video or from reading a written page? Explain your thinking."
We viewed some product review videos from the following website:
Students also looked at parts of a well written review.
The
students have reviewed how to get to the Halton "Elementary Internet
Tools" in order to access learning tools at home.
When
students use the Elementary Internet Tools at school they are automatically
logged in as a Halton District Student.
In
order for your child to use the Elementary Internet Tools at home, your child
will need to use the sticker that was distributed to them earlier in the school
year. It has his/her Username beginning with the numeral 1 and requires a
password consisting of 4 letters. The Username and password is specific
to your child and he/she must Log in accordingly.
The
steps are as follows:
1)
Go to School Web site
2)
Go to Mrs. Tom's Library
3)
Go to Elementary Internet Tools
4)
Select the tool icon from the icons shown
